Attention deficit disorder

9 years old female complaining of focusing problem.
Teachers say she gets distracted easily. Now in 4th grade,
Pt gets distracted even when doing homework at home.
She takes a long time to come back when mom tells her to do something, sometimes brings back something else.
Pt has had similar symptoms in previous years but mom thought it was because she was still too young and it will get better over time.
