confusion on DHE pads

Hi,
I was hoping for some clarification with the placement of the DHE pads. What is the proper placement for the best results? On the bottom of the feet? Or rather directly on the problem area (ex:stomach or inside of thighs) Also, how long will pads be necessary for results? Thank you very much for all of your help.
