Detox from formaldehyde poisoning?

Yesterday I got a “Brazilian blowout,” a hair straightening treatment that has a lot of formaldehyde. During the treatment my eyes burned severely and had lacrimation for hours, with my eyes crying excessively from the formaldehyde applied to my hair. I felt my eyes, ears, nose and throat burn from the chemical fumes. Could you please let me know if using the trmx-4 foot pads will help detoxify formaldehyde from my body after this significant exposure? I am open to use of another kind, but have a lot of trmx-4 foot pads at the time and want immediate detoxification.
