Re(1): essential thrombocythemia

Posted on November 12, 2007 at 02:11:59 AM by KenricoCare
Hi Renne,

Essential thrombocytosis (ET) is known to cause epistaxis (nosebleeds), bleeding from gums and gastrointestinal tract. This disorder may be progressive, and can evolve into blood cancer (leukemia).

Please use our green tea pads (CC) as soon as possible to help prevent the progression.

We also recommend our quick edition pads (QU-1) with Milk Thistle to assist the treatment. Milk Thistle contains Silymarin that has been used in treating patients who have leukemia with chemotherapy-related side effects to the liver.

Please use the CC pads at least once per day at bedtime during weekdays, and the QU-1 for the weekends.

All the best,
Kenrico Support
