Dear Kenrico! Recently hospitalized due to ulcerative colitis/chrones. However diagnosis was inconclusive. Was on hydro cortisone IV for 1 week after which I am starting on prednisolone 50 mg now to reduce inflammation. Reflex Sigmoidoscopy showed 10 large polyps and they could not go any further due to significant risk of perforation. Currently on Colazide capsules BD and Methotrexate 25 mg weekly injections. Prednisolone is give me swollen ankles/feet which is its well known side effect. Which foot patch would you recommend to prevent polyps of this type to be prevented in future and to reduce side effects caused by Prednisolone ? Is there any patch to regulate the immune system ?
