Have a friend who just emailed me the following health problems? Which protocol would be best for her?
"i noticed that my left hand mainly would go numb/tingly. at first i figured it was just the stress of him being in the hospital. stress does strange things anyway, but especially when you also deal with a brain injury. my whole left side has been my weaker side since the injury. then my left foot was going numb/tingly. and my hip was really aching. next visit to my neuro, i mentioned all of this. we try different approaches, new meds figuring it was the stress. by that fall i was not any better, actually a little worse. i have mri's of my neck and shoulders, and also of my lower back and hips. he also does some testing (can not remember the name). sends electric signals along the nerves to measure the response of the nerves, the speed of the electric signals, and the strength. i failed . seems like i am developing problems relating back to the car accident that caused the brain injury. i have bone spurs in my neck and upper shoulders. they are pressing on the nerves and muscles (it turns out) that is causing the numbness/tinglying. it is also making me the strength and movement from my shoulders down. but also at the same time i now have degenerative disc disease in my lower back and hips. from the car accident again. the force of the accident whipped me around from the left to the right . i was passenger so the seat belt came from my right side to the left. none of this is in my familys medical history. the disc disease is progressive, can not be stopped. (i guess it is considered a form of arthritis). my left foot is numb most of the time. i am having problems once again trying to walk."
