Hi Piero,
There is no need to invert the placement because one placement to the point of arm is for both left and right arms as they share the same group of nerve endings.
"/" and "." are the same as "or" with respect to their nerve endings whether they share the same group or not. A detailed explanation is below:
"/" refers to the same group of nerve endings. For example, brain stem / cerebellum / head - although they have different names and locations, they share the same group of nerve endings. Therefore, any placement to these areas correspond to the other areas too within the same group.
"," is the same as "/" with points that do not share the same group of nerve endings.
